GET /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1The question is how do I stop it.

My printer is prompted to print this at the top of pages, usually from drawer #2 which is envelopes. I have an Epson WF-4740. The information on line indicates that this is an across the board problem. I have contacted Epson and they say it is a Microsoft problem. To date I have tried every suggested fix but nothing stops it. Extremely frustrating!!!!

End.

I think you will find that that doesn't work (it was one of the very first things most of us will have tried) and to ask for 'paypal-ing our gratitude' .... well, I have seen everything now...hilarious !

Hello Friends! After many frustrating weeks and months, I have finally found the solution to this cancerous glitch (Get /eSCL/ScannerStatus HTTP/1.1 Host)

    [mod removed]

    Here is the solution:

    1. Search Services
    2. Click on Services
    3. Look for Print Spooler
    4. Right click on Print Spooler and select Restart
    5. Once Restart is done, make sure you double click on Print Spooler to make sure Start Up Type is set as Automatic.
    6. Restart your computer.

This trick worked for me. Hopefully it will work for you too. Cheers!

I have Brother MFC-L2750DW printer with USB connection. Have experienced this same issue for several weeks. Don't know what triggered it - my HP computer was new July 2022, did not have the problem until recently, and have not re-installed any programs, so maybe a recent Windows update?

However, in the "Bluetooth and devices" tab (which I found by searching for "Printers & scanners"), under Printers and scanners, "Printer preferences" heading, I toggled OFF the "Let Windows manage my default printer" button, and at the moment I have printed some documents without this problem.

Also, when printing if I enter the specific page numbers to be printed rather than the "whole document" I seem to avoid the problem.
