Replying on the page to keep microsoft's attention! You guys don't have any room for errors right now tbh. You guys need to fix this asap! It keeps trying to connect to devices that no longer exist and thats not ok! Thats a serious privacy error as well because that phone should no longer be saved anywhere on this account, How did you gain access to a removed device?

Same issue here due to no fix from Microsoft.

Multiple phones listed in Phone Link, and no way to remove old ones, as they have been reset and sent back.

Microsoft, requiring someone to remove the link on an old device, which most people won't have, is ridiculous. It simply won't work.

Similarly, sending people to the online Device Management portal to remove devices there is also stupid advice, as the page clearly tells you that in that regard, Android Devices are not even allowed to be added to the online Device Management page - so they can't be removed using that option, as they will never appear there in the first place!

For goodness sake, give us the option to remove old, no longer owned phones, directly in the Phone Link app for security and privacy purposes!

I am having the same issue. I have 4 old phones listed. And they all have the same name (because I have been buying the same phone for awhile), so I cannot tell which one is the current one. I have tried all of the options here including resetting the app in Windows and removing the devices on the Microsoft account site. I now cannot use Phone Link at all. This issue has been noted for going on 5-6 months. How can it not be fixed by now??

Hi, I haven't heard from you. If you haven't tried resetting the Phone Link app, you can find it under System Components in settings.

Press Start > Settings > System Components > look for Phone Link, click the ellipsis (...) and click "Advanced options" > scroll down and find the Reset section, then click "Reset".

Is this issue persisting even after resetting the Phone Link app?
