My computer will not download the latest windows update.

In my settings it says that the 2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040442) and the 2024-07 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5 and 4.8.1 for Windows 11, version 23H2 for x64 (KB5039895) is ready to be downloaded and installed but as I proceed with the update it keeps saying there was an error and the update will not install. I have tried restarting my PC and looking in my bios to find a problem but my troubleshooting has not worked.

Install error - 0x80004005
gets to 100% then says failure error...
What should i do? how do i install it?

2024-07-10T20:05:06+00:00 Hi, one update was able to process but this update is still not working: 2024-07 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5040442) the error code is 0x80248007. Not quite sure why it won't download.

Please run the following fix exactly as mentioned.
• Download SFCFix.exe (by niemiro of Sysnative forums) and save this to your Desktop. • Download the file, SFCFix.zip, and save this to your Desktop. Ensure that this file is named SFCFix.zip - do not rename it.
• On your Desktop, you should see two files: SFCFix.exe and SFCFix.zip.
• Drag the file SFCFix.zip onto the file SFCFix.exe and release it. [See illustration image - https://imgur.com/a/7i4Y8g8]• SFCFix will now process the script.
• Restart Windows.
• Upload the output file SFCFix.txt to your OneDrive.See if you can install updates.
