One of the reasons why we're getting difficulties now is the new enhanced security measurements. They sure don't make our life easy.
I can access my NAS now after putting up "secure signing" on my NAS, the NTLM stuff, I told you about and enabling NETBIOS in the network settings.
I believe it's more secure, but it's quite a challenge to deal with it.
Sharing drives is one part, but some programs just don't run in the latest Windows 11. I'm having troubles with my VPN provider as well, as their app doesn't even install in my latests Windows version.
BTW did you try the NETBIOS settings ?
"Control panel > Network and Internet > Network connectionsright-click on propertiesselect Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Propertiesgo to the WINS tab and enable NetBios over TCP/IP
click Ok till you exit the network connection.Restart your PC"
