I had a couple of Microsoft updates come in and just downloaded and installed them this morning. It fixed my issue of no audio input or output devices being found.
Actually if you dell laptop, dell is the responsible for solving issues. Sometimes manually solve issues by ourselves
why aren't the speakers on my laptop working ?
After purchasing and running Norton Driver Updater for the first time, I had this issue on my 2020 vintage HP laptop. I reran Driver Updater, and it flagged 'Intel Smart Sound Technology BUS' as having an issue. Updater had updated to version 10.29.0.011516. I reverted to version 10.29.011261, and the issue was resolved.
