    Yes, same problem for me. Going round in circles. Very frustrating! Can we not speak with a human being at Microsoft support anymore?

    I have followed the instructions and still have no sound since the update. Audio device not connected is the common ending to most paths I have been asked to follow.

    Way to go microsoft! No sound, no help, no caring, seems like a trend.

    Same problem as well. I've contacted MS and HP, multiple times. No resolution.

    I also have an HP Envy Laptop now with no audio after the Dec update. I also do not have Bluetooth. I also tried all of the above steps again and still no solution.
