Bluetooth not working properly on Windows 11 24H2

So i have been having this issue for a while on my PC desktop currently running the latest release of W11, 24H2.

Basically whenever i try to connect any device to my bluetooth, the device gets connected, but when i try to actually use it, i get no audio coming from it, at all, or if there is, it's just really occasional and it only lasts a fraction of a second, and it's low, jittery and stuttery, like it was struggling with signal being low, and it's indeed what's actually happening i think, as whenever i go closer with my head to where the bluetooth drivers should actually be located and the signal coming from, that is, back of the pc, or motherboard, the signal is way stronger, but even so, sometimes even so close it gets really sputtering and laggy, like a low signal.

It's definitely not normal behaviour, i have three different devices that can work through bluetooth, and all of them have issues on my pc when trying to use bluetooth.

To test this out, i tried connecting them to a laptop that still has W11 23H2, and they all work without an issue.

By process of elimination i think it's clear that the problem is either my current release of Windows, or my motherboard, which is the device producing the bluetooth signal.

I tried many different things, like installing bluetooth drivers provided by Intel, or drivers directly taken from my motherboard website, which are dated July this year, but all the devices i own are older than that. i tried editing bluetooth keys in the file register to allow Windows to use other bluetooth codecs, reinstalling the devices from device management, i used third party softwares to allow different codecs, and eventually, even doing a clean Windows 11 reinstall, nothing works.

I've had other issues with 24h2 before, not bluetooth related, but other issues so i assume that for some aspects, the release still has to be tweaked accordingly to some things and drivers, and especially considering that i have no issues on my laptop running 23h2

Or...my motherboard is the problem, but it's quite a new one, designed to run AM5 chipset CPUs by AMD which is the newest generation there is, i checked compatibility and the version of bluetooth shouldn't be an issue. My motherboad's bluetooth gen is 5.2, and the device i'm interested to connect is 5.1, i'm not an expert but i don't think there should be any issue

Even more specifically, my motherboard is an Asus x670e Tuf Gaming Plus Wifi

The device not working properly is a pair of earbuds, JBL Wave Flex

I managed to find online some issues of compatibility between these earbuds and windows 11, but they were all old discussions prior to 24h2, and most importantly, the device works on my laptop, as well as on my phone, so they are definitely not the problem.

really don't know what to do at this point haha. Can you guys help me?

    I struggled with this issue for several days. THe problem only occured with my Asus Pro Duo ux8406. My older UX851 was not affected, even though it had the same Windows update and the sameish bluetooth drivers..

    My system was as far up to date as Microsoft, Intel and Asus were concerned. Anyway after repeatedly running as much diagnostics as I had patience to do, reinstalling individual drivers that I suspected could be the fault and following all of the advice on this and other forums,. I resorted to a system reset, which took forever to restore all of my apps. On completion of the reset, everything reverted to exactly the same condition as my original starting point. At this point I was very frustrated.

    Anyway, what worked for me was to uninstall ALL of the bluetooth drivers together and let them reinstall themselves on reboot. I did not expect this to be usefull but surprise surprise, everything worked as it should.

    I don't understand why this worked. I suspect that there is a conflict between bluetooth drivers, that is waiting for me to need to connect to something urgently. On a positive note, I have tried to break the bluetooth connections as best as I can and all is still working. I hope that this solution is of use to you.

    Hi,

    I would like to help rootcause and resolve this for you. Please send us a bug report through Feedback Hub using the following instructions. That will provide us with the system info, accessory info, and traces of the issue if it can be reproduced.

    1. Launch Feedback Hub (keyboard shortcut is Windows + F).
    2. Select the "Add new feedback" button.
    3. Mark the issue as a problem.
    4. Fill out the summary and the details with relevant information, including
      1. A description of scenario and what’s failing for you. Feel free to include my name in the subject.
      2. Your computer's make and model.
      3. Bluetooth accessory make and model.
    5. Select the "Devices and drivers" category.
    6. Select the subcategory: "Bluetooth - Audio quality, glitches, choppiness and stuttering".
    7. Select "Recreate my problem"
    8. Select "Start capture" link.
    9. Toggle the Bluetooth radio off-on via the quick action menu or force a power cycle of the accessory. This will provide us with the connection information.
    10. Reproduce the issue.
    11. Select the "Stop capture" link.
    12. Select the "Submit" button.
    13. Logs will be uploaded over the course of the next few hours (to help it along connect your device to AC power and the network at the same time).

    This unfortunately for me did not resolve my issue. My computer connects to the device but still does not register it as an audio device. Does anyone else know of a fix? Attached is the screen shots of my settings showing they connect but my system won't recognize them as an audio. This started 2 days ago with when i opened a game the game sound was muffled and underwater like telephony was enabled again, it wasn't. I tried to reopen said game and did all the other fixes i've found and then I broke it MORE. Now I have no sound whatsoever. My mom who's been in IT for 20 years is also stumped as shes never seen this happen with any of the previous updates before.
