#no pc shop needed!
Dear Microsoft Support Team,
I wanted to share my recent experience with your support service regarding an issue I encountered with Windows 11 Pro. Despite your team's attempts to assist me, the problem was not resolved. After installing a specific driver, my system failed to start, and even after updating my motherboard's firmware, the issue persisted.
After spending around 2-3 hours troubleshooting on my own, I discovered that the disk had to be set to GPT, UEFI mode, and Secure Boot had to be enabled for Windows 11 Pro installation to proceed successfully. Why this information was not provided earlier by your team is beyond me, especially since I also communicated that the SSD was not visible in Windows 11 but was visible when booting with a Windows 10 disk.
I ended up resolving the issue by reinstalling Windows 11 Pro on a new M.2 SSD and purchasing a new license. However, this took 5-6 days of my time and considerable stress, which could have been avoided with better guidance.
I would like to inquire about the possibility of a refund and compensation for the time and effort spent due to the lack of support. I must also mention that I found ChatGPT much more helpful in solving this issue.
I look forward to your response.
Best regards,
Freddy Peters
