Win10, Right click on pinned programs in Start Menu no longer have file list

I'm pretty sure this occured after the latest update (which is actually four updates). I removed all four updates and the right click latest file function is still not there.

The update was: March 25, 2025-KB5055063 Cumulative Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.8 and 4.8.1 for Windows 10 Version 22H2 - Microsoft Support

The first update removed as listed is KB5054978. I lost track of the other 3 updates installed at the same time.

THIS IS THE EXACT MAIN REASON I WOULDN'T GO TO WINDOWS 11!!!! I'll be glad when there are no more win10 updates!

How do I get this right click function back? Below is the menu I get when I now right click on a pinned start menu, program:

Windows for home | Windows 10 | Windows update

    What a nuisance this is. I have several Windows10 computers to take care of and have resisted the move to Windows11 because it "breaks" the flow of familiar working practices. Just spent a good hour trying to resolve this on one of the machines but no success so far. Thanks to everyone who is trying to resolve this and draw it MS attention via the hub.

    How do you search in the feedback hub? The only option close that I see is filter, which I could only narrow down to PROBLEM (VS suggestion). Even with that list it shows me, I don't see any others with a jumplist problem. I'm sure there are more feedbacks though I only see about 20 maybe, with that filter.

    At the top of the Feedback Hub page there is a search bar that initially says "Give us feedback to make Windows better".

    I just searched for "jump". The report is very new, so it shows up near the top.

    When I went to upvote the problem in the Feedback Hub (I found 2), someone described that the jump lists still work when the app is pinned to the taskbar. I don't pin apps to the taskbar, so I hadn't noticed that. I will use that as a work-around.

    I removed all the updates from April 1st, 2025 on my computer that I could. I still have this issue even after removing KB5055518, the mentioned fix. Two updates remain that I cannot remove:

    Tried removing KB5051974 - kept getting error when uninstalling. The message was "An error occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled."

    servicing stack 10.0.19041.5676 - wouldn't let me uninstall

    The next updates for MS were installed on 3/15/25 and Adobe on 3/23/25. I certainly would have seen this issue between 3/23/25 and 4/1 (actually more like 4/6 or 7 when the offending updates occurred).

    Either those updates I can't remove note above are causing my problem OR I must have to now turn this, right click file feature, on somewhere.

    Hello ,

    I’m here to help you in resolving your issue

    1. Re-enable Jump Lists in Settings

    Sometimes the setting gets silently disabled:

    a. Go to Settings > Personalization > Start

    b. Turn ON both:

    “Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or the taskbar”

    “Show recently added apps”

    c. Then reboot.

    2: Clear and Rebuild Jump List Cache

    Corrupted cache files can cause Jump Lists to disappear.

    a. Press Win + R, type: %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations

    b. Delete all files in this folder.

    c. Then go to: %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations

    d. Delete all files here too.
