I cannot update my system.it keeps saying update failed no matter how many times i press retry.My mousepad is also not working,and i am thinking that this might be due to the system update fail

    Hi i followed your instructions and after every thing was done,i was sent to a page which requires me to enter recovery key.i entered my recovery key and it brought me to this page(shown in the picture below)i chose troubleshoot then chose startup repair then chose windows 11 on volume 3,but after diagnosing my pc,it went to a page saying that it failed to repair my pc,what should i do next?

    In this case, I suggest you perform an In-place Upgrade. This procedure reinstalls Windows, which helps to fix problems.

    But don't worry. It's a simple procedure, and you have the option to keep files, settings, and apps. Therefore, all your data is kept.

    Instructions below:

    1. Download the Windows 11 ISO file from the link below;

    1. Double-click the ISO to run;

    (After running the ISO, you may need to double-click the "Setup" file to start the procedure.)

    1. On the "Install Windows 11" screen, uncheck "I want to help make the installation of Windows better" and select "Change how Windows Setup download updates";
    2. On the next screen, select "Not right now" and click "Next";
    3. Accept the terms of use;
    4. On the "Ready to install" screen, select "Choose what to keep" and select what you want to keep.

    (In this step, select "Keep personal files and apps" so that all your data is kept.)

    1. Click "Install" and wait for the procedure to finish. Your computer may restart several times.

    The update may be installed during the In-place Upgrade. Therefore, it may no longer appear in Windows Update. Still, check Windows Update for any pending updates and install them.
