Windows Repair error: 0x8007000D - 0x20006. Cant update either.

My Windows 11 seems to be corrupted so I tried to do a repair with the Windows 11 ISO but I got the error in my title. My start button no longer works either,

Does anyone have an idea what could be wrong/how to fix it?

No the metered option is off.

I ran the steps in CMD first and now the Defender update is gone. The others are still there.

I then did the powershell step: https://gofile.io/d/RvDj3E I ran it at like 20:40 my local time.

There are connectivity issues. Delivery Optimization is not working.

Let's force it to use BITS mode. Please download dosvc-mode.zip. Unzip and run the dosvc-99 REG file.

Restart Windows by running:

  • shutdown /r /t 0

After the reboot, run:

  • usoclient StartInteractiveScan

If the system still doesn't connect to WU, run dosvc-100 REG file. Reboot and run the above command again.

Meanwhile, you can also try installing CloudFlare WARP (a VPN-like program) free and see if WU works fine.

    Sorry for the late reply!

    I have no idea how it got renamed. Yeah it has all the DLL files in the old one: 20250428_090021697_iOS.heic

    I can't tell if Memory Integrity is enabled, Core isolation seem to be enabled ( 20250428_091352141_iOS.heic )

    but when I go into it, Memory Integrity I think isn't ( 20250428_091347792_iOS.heic ) and Im not sure where to enable it?

    Do you have any idea how the folder got renamed? Does the migration.old folder contain the DLL files?

    Before rerunning the Windows 11 24H2 setup, consider the following steps to ensure a smooth upgrade experience.

    • Enable Memory Integrity. To enable memory integrity in Windows, go to Windows Security > Device security > Core isolation details > Memory integrity. If it shows any incompatible drivers, post the screenshot here.
    • Clean boot the system before running the setup to avoid 3rd party interference. A clean boot is the process of starting Windows without loading third-party apps and services. Please see this Microsoft article for more information.

    Thats great to hear!

    Yes that folder is missing, I have one called migration.old

    I transferred over the one you linked though and put it in system32
