Win 11 Version 24H2 Install Failed

I tried to install Win 11 Version 24H2 for the second time, and it failed for a second time. The first BSOD message gave the following info:

Your device ran into a problem and needs to restart.

Stop code: INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE

After a couple of restarts, the update was backed out. I'm back on Windows 11 Pro Version 23H2.

I checked the update history and saw the Install error code - 0xc1900101.

Before I tried the 24H2 update, I did the following:

Unplug unnecessary USB devices

Drivers were updated

No issues in Device Manager

I have 30GB of free space on the drive

Any help would be appreciated,

    Ramesh,

    I plan on working on this on Tuesday afternoon. You as me to do the following:

    1. Please uninstall SUPERAntiSpyware and Glary Utilities.
    2. See if you can run the Avast uninstall tool in "Safe mode with networking" mode.
    3. Clean boot Windows using msconfig.exe.
    4. Backup the registry using Acelogix Regbak,
    5. After doing all of the above, post fresh Farbar logs.

    On your step 3. How do I perform a clean boot?

    Thanks for the explanation. I'll not be able to do the removal steps for several days because I need my computer for work. Once I have done the removal, I'll post new Farbar logs.

    @sms1295:

    Your computer will still be protected because Microsoft Defender antivirus will be enabled automatically after turning off Avast. Moreover, you can reinstall Avast after upgrading to 24H2.
