Windows 11: Alt+Tab bolder border?

Thanks - settings dialogue was default size, it wasn't until with a lucky guess and seeing what yours looked like, I made it bigger that I saw all the other options. I have not reduced it. This trail is the first time I've tried to use it since the downgrade.

The new right click on folder in explorer menu has a bunch of stuff I'll never use. "Show more options" is where all the things I need are hidden.

I guess MS is just trying to make win look like nasty macos....

You've got your window sized reduced so far that it doesn't have room to show everything. I said it above but if you just make the screen bigger, you'll save all of your frustrations and headaches. But it's not abnormal for a program to hide something when you reduce the window size.

The right click menu sometimes has more than 60 options on it, The new menu is far nicer and cleaner and you can still get 99% of things without clicking " show more options". All the usual stuff is there on the initial menu, and third party extensions are actually organized into groups by the program that added them there now, instead of scattered in on alphabetical order. The new menus are objectively better in so many ways, and I would be really curious about what advanced function you use so often they requires you to click " show more options", especially if you're not an extreme power user, I would be surprised that you have to go there.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, So I'm not going to try to change your mind. I'm just trying to help you accomplish your objective of making the all tab better. They've made changes based on feedback from other people just like you,

Thanks Shawn, your pic above is not what I see when I click settings, but what's below. For some reason I'm supposed to guess that to find anything that's not a system setting, is under the three lines top left. How was I supposed to guess this? I've wasted so much time thanks to stupid software downgrade.

Also now when I want to create a sub folder in explorer, to get the "old" menu that has EVERYTHING, I need to right click then select "Show more options", at which point I get the menu that has everything, that I used to get from just right one click - right there where I could see it, without needing to read every menu option to try and work out where the hell it had gone.

What are MS playing at - who thinks it's a good idea to start hiding stuff, making things harder to find, harder to read and adding more clicks. This new windows downgrade absolutely sucks.

But there's not "Personalisation" (or Personalization) under "Settings"... ??

There's: display, sound, notifications, focus assist (?), Power and batt, Storage, Nearby sharing (?), Multi-tasking (?), Activation, Troubleshoot, Recovery, Protecting this PC, Remote desktop, Clipboard and about.

Windows claims to be up to date. I wish they wouldn't keep changing it. It used to just work fine.
