    Actually that was a 32-bit (x86) driver and you need a 64-bit (x64) driver. That's my oversight

Windows 8 drivers usually work on Windows 10.

So try the 5.1.19.0 driver - the 1.1 MB size one which is 64-bit:

    https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search...

Right-click the downloaded .cab file and extract the files to a folder using WinZip, WinRAR, 7-ZIP, Windows Explorer, etc

Then locate the following file in the folder with the extracted files:

    netr28ux.inf

Then open the Device Manager and right-click the wireless adapter ("802.11n USB Wireless LAN card") > Update driver > Browse my computer for drivers > Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer > Have Disk > then "Browse" to and then click on the netr28ux.inf in the folder with the extracted file > OK

Continue with the installation and restart the computer.

That should install a different driver (netr28ux.sys) and hopefully work better.
