[Windows update installing the new Edge browser] Update KB4559309 Makes Computer Unbearably Slow

Last night I updated my windows 10 pro using KB:4559309. Since then my computer performance has absolutely tanked. my startup time is probably triple, loading any window has a few second delay.

I attempted to uninstall the update however windows tells me that it is required and cannot be removed.

This update has essentially rendered my brand new computer useless.

Please help!

I have spoken to Missy Quarry, from the Edge team, and they are investigating this problem. However, they really need more details submitted though the Feedback Hub on Windows 10. 

To submit feedback, please go to start > Feedback Hub. 

You will need to click onto report a problem. Then enter your feedback/problem you are having with Microsoft Edge. On the categories you will need to make sure you have the following drop down options selected in the image underneath:

The more detail you can submit, the better it will be for the Edge team to find out what is causing this issue. So the detail box that has the test comment, should detail everything you are experiencing.

    i am using windows 8.1 and did not get the kb...309 update but was still affected. i did however forcablly recieve the microsoft edge update but disabling that since it would not let me uninstall it only help a little. there were only two other programs installed before my computer went to hell and they were both from intel and related to drivers and computer performance. after uninstalling these two programs, with the exception of programs i had that were deleted from the issue which i need to reinstall, everything else went completely back to normal.

    sometimes it works and other times it doesn't? I have (KB4559309) - Error 0x800703f1, and (KB4565351) - Error 0x800703f1 codes.

     I have tried so many things that other people from the community had me do. I have changed so many setting, and setting in my registry , plus downloaded the windows 10 May 2020 update, and then the create windows 10 and none worked. I'm not sure if it's because I have windows 10 pro or not, but every time someone helps me it wont shutdown to where I have to hold the power button or it wont start until a few tries then runs very slow for a little bit.

    i had slow issues as well. either wouldnt load or took forever. also was blocked from opening chrome and programs disappeared but i am not using windows 10, im on 8.1 and this still happened. didnot get the kb....309 update so this cant be part of the issue, i did however have microsoft edge install itself and also 2 programs from intel. i disabled edge as i couldnt uninstall it and it helped a little bit. i tried going back to system restore and prior settings but still lagging. so i took out the intel and everything was normal again. anybody have a clue where the actual issue came from yet?

     by the way the intel programs were related to drivers and computer performance, just sayin"
