Updating to Windows 10 Version 2004/Conexant Drivers

So what do people with computers with Conexant drivers do? Windows Update says update drivers but there are none acceptable, it also says Microsoft is working on a fix ? So what do we do? If there are compatible drivers for devices using Conexant Audio where are they, how do we get them and install or replace them (I have tried everything to no avail). When does MS expect a fix ? Are persons with Conexant audio drivers computers at end of life ? Does anybody care ?

    Nothing worked, and I was signed in with my MS account.  I then signed up to the WIndows Insider Program, and everything worked.  I was able to upvote your thing.

    thanks for the update. Guys, even though maybe you don't want to join the insiders program, this seems to be the only way to upvote, perhaps you can join like texgeekboy did? 

    I am signed up and i dont get any spam or anything, you can see what new builds are available and there's some beta links, etc it's actually cool.

    Okay, so I forced the 2004 update onto my 5+ year old HP Envy Notebook, model 17t-u000 CTO.  It's still a pretty awesome machine.  I am running WinPro 64.   I did not do anything with the existing Conexant drivers before the update (I did do a complete system backup though!).  After starting up the new level, I did not notice anything wrong with the audio or microphone, they appear to be working well.  I fired up my iTunes to make sure the songs sounded the same (they did), but the iTunes program was having problem when I resized the window.  It acted like I had no video memory, and stair stepped as I enlarged or shrunk the window.  It eventually caught up.  As I said, the music was fine.  I use Firefox, and it didn't have the problem, nor did any of the MS Office 2019 programs.

    I'll live with the iTunes stuff.  I don't really use it all that often, mainly to buy a couple of songs a year and to sync them with my iPhone music as well as to sync my Outlook calendar.  I had the latest iTunes installed.

    Yep, logged in.  Said can't update the link you posted.  In the popup I see, there is no search option.  If I set the Filter to 'Suggestions', and the Category to 'Install and Update', I do not see anyone with Conexant in the title.  There are quite a few suggestions displayed, but the oldest one seems to be about 2 weeks old.
