Crackling audio after update to 2004

After updating Win10 to 2004, I get crackling audio when I use Razer Surround Pro software. When I switch my audio output, I get normal audio. This only happens when I use Surround Pro.

Edit: Still talking with razer support but I ultimately believe this is an issue with the 2004 update. I hope there's a fix for this soon, although I don't mind still using 1909.

Edit: this is the reply from Razer I got today:

Good day!

We receive an update from our appropriate department that our Audio team is checking on the path forward. Should there be a fix, it will come in the form of a software update. Please check the synapse update from time to time.

Thanks.

Edit: I don't understand why, but having bluestacks running in the background fixes the issue.

It is not the bluestacks itself that is fixing the issue but rather virtual box that is installed alongside.

I have installed just the virtualbox alone and started a windows machine, with the absolute bare minimum and razer surround seem to not produce any disruptive noises. it seems like a virtualization problem not sure yet were it has the roots.

Furthermore, seems like you don't even need to start the virtual machine to have the sound fixed,
I've set a win10 VM (in virtualbox) and allocated absurd low specs like 2MB disk and 4MB ram and started it, after this a pop-up is displayed to select the disk and at this point the sound works fine, but the VM is not running yet (would not run with 4mb anyway) So it seems that some services are started to prepare the VM and these are fixing the sound not running the VM itself.

Hi, just wanted to drop a message for you, I randomly browsed a website and there was a comment where if you leave bluestack phone emulator running in the background, the razer synapse surround sound will work again, i tested it and it's working for me, just wanted to let you know, it's by a user "CRE4MPIE" in the razer insider forum!

i hope it works for you!

Unfortunately, this file didn't work. Still crackling.

Try to install like you, not working

I've uninstalled the old version that I had, reboot, install your version, still have problems.

Reboot one more time, nothing change.

In the control panel I've noticed that version of razer surround the same that I've had 1.05.28
