Win 10 Build 2004 issue with Realtek audio

Test #2, I place the MS driver back and upgraded to Win2004 built, sound STILL works.

Test #3, upgraded the driver now to the 2004 built 6.0.8945 and it BROKE, so revert back to MS driver.

I *think* I tried that, but in all the chaos of trying to get my microphone functional in “virtual school constant Google Meet” time, I may have skipped that specific combination. I just ended up going back to 1909 completely but I know that won’t work forever. 

I will give 2004 a shot with the MS driver, which is the only thing I ultimately found would work instead of  using the oh-so-lovely Realtek one. 

Hopefully I can muddle my way through getting the MS driver to stick with the 2004 build!

Perhaps my similar issue is not related to Asus, but Gigabyte and Ultimately REALTEK.

Nevertheless it is a REALTEK issue and here is my "work around" since MS hasn't responded to my opened ticket.

......I decided (per Gigabyte's suggestion/explanation) to do a clean install (again) but this time was to 1909 built and the sound WAS back, using a MS driver (great), As a test (and again as suggested by Gigabyte) I installed the 6.0.8854.1 and it BROKE, well WE knew that.

I doubt that this is going to get resolved properly, MS (rightfully so) says Win10 works as designed. and Gigabyte refuses to even acknowledge ALL the posts EVERYWHERE, because the have test results on file showing that Realtek drivers work...on a clean install....

So, my suggestion is...if you are not running a recording Studio and just want t have some sound.....keep the MS driver.

I am currently have the windows 10 2004 version.....after installing the latest update I'm facing a major problem with my headphone. First I found that the realtek audio driver isn't installed in control panel and then I installed the latest driver and it worked for the 1st day but in second day it again occurs.I reinstalled the driver and tested but very low sound coming out from headphone like before and most importantly the talking voice is very clumsy......I've tried almost every method to fix this issue but I failed till today.Can you please help me ?

Did you find a solution? I'm having the same issue since the update on my HP Spectre Folio. 

Microphone only picks me up if I'm yelling. 

I can't find updated drivers anywhere.

I am using same windows version with updates.

And i installed realtek hd Audio driver 6.0.8967.1 , no issues in sound works perfectly

But currently it's showing the latest driver is 6.0.8971.1 for x64 based edition.
