So Recently, I have discovered that my camera suddenly stopped working, I tried as ALL solutions that I could find (Reinstalling the camera app, updating drivers) but it still doesn't fix, I also installed updates to my drivers and I think this is what is causing all of this. Is there any solution Possible? If so, Please Tell me.

If you have a Samsung computer or laptop, I read the manual on how to use it and figured out that I needed to press FN+F11 to activate the built-in camera after my Windows 11 update. I hope this helps. if the key isn't F11 look for one that looks like a person with a lock that's the one that blocks screen recording and photos. It fixed the camera is not installed black screen instantly!

This is why people dont want to upgrade windows until they absolutely have no choice. They keep breaking basic things that worked going back to windows 95 and even 3.1. while providing features no one needed. 30 years Microsoft has had to get a camera and microphone working without driver issues. if you have Aspergers syndrome, windows is perfect for you so you can spend hours /days weeks troubleshooting problems by installing /reinstalling drivers operating systems etc. I enjoyed doing this for a time. The rest of us just want basic things to work.

Hi Andrew, thanks for letting me know and providing the screenshot.

Let's focus on updating the driver. First off, in Windows 11, Microsoft provides the drivers for the integrated webcam in Dell laptops. Windows Update installs any new drivers when available. Dell does not have any Windows 11 webcam drivers to provide you.

Please go to Settings (Win + I key) > Windows Update > Update History > expand "Driver Updates." While there, look for Camera driver updates and note the version.

After that, please open Device Manager and manually search for drivers.

    > Right-click the Start and select "Device Manager."

    > Expand Cameras. Right-click the Integrated Webcam and select "Update driver."

    > Click "Browse my computer for drivers."

    > Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer."

    > Select the driver with a similar version installed via Windows Update. Click "Next" to install and click "Close."

If the issue persists after manually updating the Camera driver, please run the Camera troubleshooter again using the Get Help app, steps are in last response to you earlier.

If the issue still persists, do you have any third-party antivirus software installed? If so, please check if the settings are blocking camera access.

Let me know how it goes or if you have any further questions or concerns.

    John J.D.

    I have reset my PC.

I tried all other solutions and despite many complaints Microsoft did not provide a solution. I tried all the troubleshooters and the solutions suggested by John J D. None of them work, so because I could not use Teams or Zoom which I badly needed I bit the bullet and reset my PC. it is a major step and time consuming but ultimately worth it. There is a bug in the software on updates that cause this issue and MS seem not be able to identify or solve it and it may not affect everyone but I suspect the configuration of my PC at the time may have caused this to happen.

I think this is currently the only viable way of getting your camera to work.
