My laptop automatically updated when I switched it off the other night. The next day I turned it back on and my desktop background had changed from a photo I chose a plain black. The taskbar, start, action centre, title bars and window borders all changed from the colour I had chosen to a white-ish grey. I have changed my background, the title bars and window boarders back to my original settings but it won't allow me to change the task bar, start and action centre. The tick box for this option is greyed out and it won't let me click on it (see image). Help Centre is no good as the instructions tell me to click this very tick box! Does anyone know how I change the colour? Very annoying!

I just read your comments. I never found the BSOD suddenly on my device. Data in Documents Folder I have backed up on Microsoft OneDrive. by the way i will turn off my laptop and go to sleep. here at 11:41 pm in Indonesia. bye.

Don't jump in. My Brother In Law bought a new laptop from PC World in Dublin a couple of months ago All was fine till Windows Update Malware installed then it simply died. PC World hid in the corner saying it was fine when they sold it to him. They refused to help and suggested he take it up with Microsoft. He could ss PC World had had it with people trying to return purchases. He said he had not bothered to take out insurance with PC World. I told him he had 30 days to do that. So he signed up payed the money then marched back to the store and bought a Mac. Future Updates will gladly destroy your new machine as they have your current one. Mac or a really good android tablet perhaps. Hitbit
