Hi,

i think the latest update has removed the CsEnabled option and additional power plans aren't available...

plz help with it..

This very thing happened to me exactly. If you read the entire thread apparently Microsoft did away with that.

MS PLEASE BRING BACK THE POWER OPTIONS my surface is useless now.

The CsEnabled not available anymore for windows 10 v2004 but you can still restore all the power plans and power settings: DOWNLOAD

There is no need to use a command prompt or registry editor and all you need to do is just click on the batch file then it is fixed.

POWER SCHEMES FOLDER:

Power Saver & High Performance ~ To import the original windows power plans.

Ultimate Performance ~ This power plan is only to be used on higher-end PCs.

Restore Profile ~ To clear and reset the original Windows Power Profile.

POWER SETTINGS FOLDER:

Default Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows standard power settings.

Advanced Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows expert power settings.

Settings Disable ~ To automatically remove all the windows power settings.

Troubleshooter ~ To fix problems with power settings and conserve battery life.

DEFAULT & ADVANCED OPTIONS:

To manually enable or disable your own power settings by clicking on the reg files.

DIAGNOSE TOOLS:

A collection of diagnostic windows system power tools for fault-finding the issues.

    Hello,

    I am hoping you can help me.

    When I follow the steps above to edit the Registry Editor, there is no "CSenabled button available".

    It is simply no-where to be found for me.

    I have included a screenshot below.

    Do you know what I should do in this case?

    This is now no longer possible with 20H2 update.

    I'm using my Surface Pro for music production and had tweaked my machine with a min./max. CPU speed 99% so that the CPU speed is mostly constant.

    Now with 20H2 update all is gone and the CPU speed is changing like crazy and I get a lot of audio drop out when producing. 

    This update rendering my laptop useless for music production. 

    BRING BACK THE POSSIBILITY TO TWEAK ENERGY PROFILE FOR ADVANCED USERS.

    I have the same issue as above. I have run the powerconfig. commands - it shows )in the command prompt window) that the high performance or ultimate performance plans have been added. However they do not appear in the Power Options settings, even after restart.

    The CsEnabled entry does not appear in my registry.

    Have there been any updates on this issue?
