Hi,

i think the latest update has removed the CsEnabled option and additional power plans aren't available...

plz help with it..

This very thing happened to me exactly. If you read the entire thread apparently Microsoft did away with that.

MS PLEASE BRING BACK THE POWER OPTIONS my surface is useless now.

The CsEnabled not available anymore for windows 10 v2004 but you can still restore all the power plans and power settings: DOWNLOAD

There is no need to use a command prompt or registry editor and all you need to do is just click on the batch file then it is fixed.

POWER SCHEMES FOLDER:

Power Saver & High Performance ~ To import the original windows power plans.

Ultimate Performance ~ This power plan is only to be used on higher-end PCs.

Restore Profile ~ To clear and reset the original Windows Power Profile.

POWER SETTINGS FOLDER:

Default Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows standard power settings.

Advanced Enable ~ To automatically restore all windows expert power settings.

Settings Disable ~ To automatically remove all the windows power settings.

Troubleshooter ~ To fix problems with power settings and conserve battery life.

DEFAULT & ADVANCED OPTIONS:

To manually enable or disable your own power settings by clicking on the reg files.

DIAGNOSE TOOLS:

A collection of diagnostic windows system power tools for fault-finding the issues.

    Hi,

    I had the exact same problem and none of the methods you mentioned help :(

    When I tried method 1, nothing really happened to my power options(only the 'balanced mode' was duplicated) and when I tried method 2, CsEnabled wasn't present in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power

    Please help with some other methods, I am running the latest version of windows.

    The first solution doesn't change anything, its only another way to set standard settings....

    The second solution is not possible, because the "CsEabled" in the following registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power is missing

    The problem here is, that there are no additional power modifications available for example WLAN or Processor performance...

    Microsoft told me to reinstall Windows 10 Pro with a download from a cloud. It changed nothing.

    Please give us a solution that helps!

    If ever Microsoft advisor asks you to reinstall Windows then they don't know how to solve your issue. The solution you

    need is to import the fixed power scheme file into the Windows registry and here the instruction taken from the read me file.

    HOW TO IMPORT POWER SCHEME:

    1. Go to Windows start and right-click on the mouse and in the menu select PowerShell (Admin).
    2. Before you can import, you will need to edit this command as the same directory path on your computer.

    ENTER: powercfg -import C:\Users\NAME\Desktop\Revolutions\Schemes\PLAN.pow

    1. You need to change NAME path to your Windows username and if don't know it, enter netplwiz then click properties.
    2. Next, you will need to change the PLAN.pow path to either Power-Saver, High-Performance or Ultimate-Performance.
    3. Now you're ready to copy & paste this import command to PowerShell console and press Return key.
    4. Also you will have to set activate your new power plan but you need to add the GUID code.

    ENTER: powercfg -setactive GUID

    1. Firstly you need to copy the GUID code from your new power plan by press Ctrl key + C key.
    2. Secondly, paste the GUID code next to set active command by press Ctrl key + V key and press Return key.
    3. Finally to verify your new power plan has been successful.

    ENTER: powercfg -list or powercfg -l

    1. Now press the Return key and a list of all your power plan schemes will be shown.

    My previous post on page 2 has the Windows official power scheme files with the CsEabled fix and is the only method that actually works!
