I have managed to get as far as the "Welcomem Set Your Experience" screen ==> Content Manager" that seems to keep restarting the download for "asobo-aircraft-b787-10-0.1.35.fspackage".
The download will sometimes get to around 30% and then reset back to start again, while other times it may only get to 7% or 12%.
Why is this happening?
My internet is reasonably stable with a consistent download bandwidth of between 30MBPS to 50MBPS.

I actually ended up paying for a NordVPN account (~$10) and choosing a local P2P VPN and it downloaded at full speed in about an hour.
I shared my VPN login with a friend with the same issue, and while his was alot slower, it still solved the re-downloading loop.
I wasted over 350gb of data redownloading the same file.
Anyone know who I send the bill to?
I haven't tried to download the game but was hoping to find out if anyone knew of a bandwidth limitation or if they are downloading at their full Internet speeds. I was thinking of Increase my bandwidth if it might do any good. I would expect traffic on the site could make a big difference..
Otherwise, the download is large and I understand it downloads the initial setup data then once that is configured, it downloads the remaining files. A download of 90 GBs is extremely large so knowing your available drive space situation would seem to be fairly important..
We could speculate as to why the download would stop and then start over, but no way to know unless the system is monitored. Checking Settings-Update&Security -Delivery Optimization and the Advanced Options settings and Activity monitor information might give you a clue at least when something might be going wrong..
One thing I like to do is keep the Task Manager open so I can watch the Internet graph and see if the download speed is consistent..
I suppose you might also check for QoS type settings or Bandwidth Managers which might restrict straight downloads so as to favor some type of streaming content..
Same issue here. Gets about 20% downloading the same file and restarts.
Might send Microsoft the data bill yeah?
I have exactly the same problem. Keeps resetting and looping in my brand new PC built for MSFS 2020. This problem should be fixed by Microsoft asap. This is extremely frustrating.

I have the same problem, will not move past the first download. Keeps reseting and looping endlessly !!!!! This is a waste of time and money for a product that by the looks of it MANY people can't get to work !!!!

Rebooted computer several times and restarted installation.
and so far that is the only entertainment gotten from the game.
P3dV5 works flawlessly on this system 4k and most settings ultra so surely it is good enough for MS2020.
Been trying to get past content manager downloading and installing for 4 days now. The command line trick mentioned didn't make any difference, and between 100-200Mbit/s connection.
Always redownloading ASOBO-AIRPORT-SEQM-MARISCAL-SUCRE-QUITO-0.1.27.FSPATCH.PART. Deleting and restarting doesn't help.
