When I start up the game it tells me to press any button to start. I press a button and then it tells me to insert the disk and press continue. I don't have a disk because I purchased the premium Deluxe Edition online it's bought-and-paid-for it says the game is installed but everytime I press continue it just pops up again please insert disc.

Totally agree - while the sim itself is great, the install & setup process is extremely amateur

I am sorry to report that no matter what I do, I cannot get Flight Simulator to work even with the ISO file on a high end Dell Alienware machine.  The process gets halted with in a processing loop and there is no disc access going on.

I am having same repeated failure having restarted, reinstalled software, firewalls up or down, and the funny thin is it runs perfectly on an older intel chipset in my desktop - with the same OS, the same version of bit defender, configured the same, and on the same network with all of the same OS patches...

I think I am going to take a rest for a while and wait for the next major update.

I am pleased the game is working for some of you and happy landings my friends.

Wow..so many firewalls and virus checkers getting turned off...field day for the hackers.

You'd think Microsoft would be able to make something that works...but alas, still trouble.

10 disks, 5 hours of loading, then another few hours on the updates, still it asks.

I don't mind all these "workarounds" like ISOs etc. for small enterprises, but this is MS!

No-one should be compromising security or have to create ISOs, just to make a game that costs £120 work.

    Really needs sorting.

Me thinks they released this a little too early to take everyone by surprise.

Meantime, turn everything off and put bare PC on DMZ with no personal stuff connected. Should do the trick. :)
