Flight simulator please insert disc???

When I start up the game it tells me to press any button to start. I press a button and then it tells me to insert the disk and press continue. I don't have a disk because I purchased the premium Deluxe Edition online it's bought-and-paid-for it says the game is installed but everytime I press continue it just pops up again please insert disc.

    I found the best solution. First check if you are logged in in microsoft store if not. login into the microsoft store (with the account you bought it with) DONT SIGN OUT then enter the game and check. It should work 100%

    There is only 1 solution that really works for everyone.Create an ISO file as described earlier and open this file before starting MFS.This always works for everyone.

    For me the problem is related to windows firewall, if outbound connections are not allowed and Flight Simulator is allowed by rule it's not working.

    If firewall outbound connections are allowed in general (default wf setting) everything is working! 

    This should be fixed!

    Hi all, 

    For those of you getting the Please insert disc error on startup, I figured out what my issue was.  For some reason my Microsoft Store account had switched to another account a few days after I installed Flight Simulator.  I was able to play for 2 days, then nothing but insert disc errors.  I finally saw that the account was switched and changed back to my main account that I downloaded the game under and then the error went away.  Not sure why this happened, but i'm glad I figured it out.  Good luck.

    Go to your Microsoft account and click on the Owned Flight sim
