Flight simulator please insert disc???

When I start up the game it tells me to press any button to start. I press a button and then it tells me to insert the disk and press continue. I don't have a disk because I purchased the premium Deluxe Edition online it's bought-and-paid-for it says the game is installed but everytime I press continue it just pops up again please insert disc.

    I bought game directly from Microsoft store, so I do not have any game disks.

    I tried everything mentioned in this forum and nothing worked for me. I've spent 2 days trying to figure this out and decided to get the refund and buy the game through Steam as suggested. I don't get the game asking me for a disc anymore and now I'm just waiting for hours and hours for this thing to finally download. Fingers crossed that this all works in the end. This has NOT been a good experience and I didn't expect to have so many issues along the way. Installations shouldn't be this difficult!

    Hey,

    I was having the same issue and I went and disabled the Firewall and it worked (I disabled it in Bitdefender), it's downloading the complete game right now. So this seems to be an issue in the Firewall, I will check it later to find out what exactly is the issue there. Can't wait to play. Let me know if this also fixed your issue.

    I have Bitdefender too and so far only solution is to disable firewall. Please put some stress to Bitdefender support as I did, so they will deliver fix sooner! The problem is not just installation, but online content is blocked as Bitdefender blocks internet access from Flightsimulator.exe and at least I was not able to add rule to allow it as the installation folder is protected.

    Reinstall windows and spend many hours only because of microsofts copy protection, which brings more problems to honest clients, than to cyber criminals? No sorry, this i won't do and I want my money back! If this should be a problem i will sue microsoft and never buy anything with it's name!

    The game got cracked at the first day of release btw...

    Microsoft is a big shame!
