One answer that seems plausible is that Microsoft doesn't control the laptop vendor's design or chipset solution, whereas Apple does.
Perhaps a given vendor of bluetooth earbuds need to be matched to a particular bluetooth chipset to work well?
In that case, it'd be nice to know which earbuds work well with my particular laptop (Dell XPS 17). I'll just buy those earbuds.
Does anybody have a way of trying to figure out which earbuds work best with a given bluetooth chipset? My laptop has either Intel Killer AX1650s or Qualcomm Killer AX500s DBS; not sure how to figure out which. System Information doesn't seem to say but the bluetooth device driver is from Intel.
Is it possible that, in order to try to work with all of them, someone has made choices and they work kinda **** with all of them?
Thx
