Why is Windows 10 Bluetooth so so so bad ?

I am sick of connecting through Bluetooth on my Windows 10

  1. Disconnects automatically randomly
  2. Bluetooth is on but can't connect to the device because it tells that your bluetooth is off.
  3. Devices appear when bluetooth is toggled off, disappear when toggled on.
  4. Nothing happens no matter what you try. The only solution is to restart your device.
  5. After restarting, works for some time. Then randomly ... (please start from point 1 again).

I am so sick of this happening everytime. How can it be so bad? Is Microsoft doing absolutely nothing to fix this.

It makes me want to throw my laptop and pull out my hair. Then I remember, how stupid of me. This has got to do with my Windows, software. How will throwing my laptop help. And then I remember again; if it's a software - it can be fixed! Fix it please!! You made such a huge operating system, you can maybe fix a bluetooth.

PS - I'll check this thread later. I need to restart my system again, need to connect to bluetooth

One answer that seems plausible is that Microsoft doesn't control the laptop vendor's design or chipset solution, whereas Apple does.

Perhaps a given vendor of bluetooth earbuds need to be matched to a particular bluetooth chipset to work well?

In that case, it'd be nice to know which earbuds work well with my particular laptop (Dell XPS 17). I'll just buy those earbuds.

Does anybody have a way of trying to figure out which earbuds work best with a given bluetooth chipset? My laptop has either Intel Killer AX1650s or Qualcomm Killer AX500s DBS; not sure how to figure out which. System Information doesn't seem to say but the bluetooth device driver is from Intel.

Is it possible that, in order to try to work with all of them, someone has made choices and they work kinda **** with all of them?

    Thx

    Why don't they care?

Corporate America, Microsoft, have no interest in spending Dollars if it doesn't give them a gain in terms of a profit, the essence of Capitalism,

The same applies to mobile phones. Mine has been getting slower to boot after each update.

Designed to give you the **** so you buy a new one, but for me I will never buy a Redmi phone again, when this really dies.

yes yes yes yes yes to all the above! Pathetic beyond belief or description. Bluetooth device works flawlessly with iOS and with Android, essentially useless with Windows 10.

Hilarious! I am new to bluetooth headphones, and have had NOTHING BUT TROUBLE! So its not me! It's Windows!

I googled "why is windows bluetooth so bad" hoping to find someone who has the answer so I can fix it once and for all. Apparently it's so messed up it's unfixable. Never in my life have I heard of software so messed up that it's unfixable! Especially something major that's shipped on millions of computers! Is the Microsoft office completely empty? Are they all in the Bahamas or something? Are they unable to read discussions like this one? Everyone who can afford it has an Apple product. Wish I was one of them.
