If someone wants to try to hack into my network due to not having the latest update, I hope you are good at breaking 26 character, 64 bit encrypted passwords.... Weird...some guy named Snowden just mumbled "Hold my vodka."

Have you considered installing Version 1909?

No apologies necessary, I was just trying to let you know that I do know a little about computers :) I honestly have very little in the way of special software or hardware. I gave that stuff up when I retired! I have somewhat of a home brew Home Automation system, run by a Raspberry Pi, but it's nothing more than a web page that I can interact with. I/we appreciate your input, as I think any transfer of ideas is not a bad thing.... FWIW, I built my current machine in early February, and it ran (and continues to run flawlessly). It updated regularly until sometime in mid March. Since then I can get Defender updates and Office updates, but Cumulative updates always end the same. I really don't want to re-install Windows, so I'll continue pausing updates until someone offers a fix (that works for ~100% of EVERYONE's issues). If someone wants to try to hack into my network due to not having the latest update, I hope you are good at breaking 26 character, 64 bit encrypted passwords....
