My OS build is the same as yours. I went one step further today and downloaded the .net framework repair tool and ran it. Then I un-paused updates and and it tried to install KB4551762 (for the 7th time). Same result, fail - 0x800f081 Repaused updates til May 8 EDIT: I am running version 3.5.30729.4926 of .net

I was using my desktop this afternoon which hadn't been updated since January. I ran windows update and all updates installed no issue. It was using version 1903. After that I checked for updates and it installed version 1909 then further installed kb4541335 Cumulative update. Desktop is running good. I tried installing kb4541335 onto my laptop again via windows update and it has re failed. It's now struggling along trying to instal kb4551762 which was the original Cumulative update for 1909. My os built is currently windows 1909 18363.657 on laptop. Will updat if this is successful this time round.

My OS build is the same as yours.
