DTS headphone X not working

I'm using Asus tuf fx505dt

recently , preinstalled dts headphone x started showing "Please enable the PC speaker to use DTS audio" or "Please connect a headphone to use DTS audio" when I connect my headphones?

any solutions?

My laptop is FX505dt. I installed the third audio driver from the URL below(UAD - ASUS PRIME-TUF DTS) and IT WORKS.

But I think there is still issue. I can't find any difference with surround sound and 3D fix on or off.

Procedure to install this driver:-

Option 1:

  1. Download and unzip the audio driver
  2. Disable the network
  3. Right click on the start icon
  4. Go to device manager-> Sound, video and game controller
  5. Uninstall "Realtek(R) Audio" (Please tick delete the driver software for this device.)
  6. Run the setup.exe in the audio driver folder
  7. Restart your laptop twice!!!!
  8. Go to the DTS Headphone:X v1 app and done.

Option 2:

  1. Download and unzip the audio driver
  2. Disable the network
  3. Right click on the start icon
  4. Go to device manager-> Sound, video and game controller
  5. Right click on the "Realtek(R) Audio" and press "Update Driver"
  6. Press "Browser my computer for the driver software
  7. Click "Browse" to select the folder of audio driver
  8. Press next
  9. Check the driver installed (Right click on the "Realtek(R) Audio"->properties->"Driver" tab)

10.  If the version is 6.0.8895.1, restart your computer. Done

    Download latest DTS component from MyAsus app.

    Go to downloads & extract it.

    Copy ' dtsapo3oemconfig.xml ' from ' DTS_HPXv1_UWP_APO3x_Asus_EXT_1.0.18.1_RS5 ' to "C:\Windows\System32\DTS\PC\APO3x".

    DTS Headphone 1 Unresponsive

    Asus TUF FX505

    I fought this problem for several weeks, in my Asus TUF  FX505DT. Here you have the latest drivers that will work, select 

    Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS PRIME-TUF DTS) :

    (YOU NEED TO REGISTERED TO SEE DOWNLOAD LINKS) 

    1. Download 

    Realtek Audio Drivers (UAD - ASUS PRIME-TUF DTS) :

    Drivers : 6.0.8899.1 WHQL [18/02/2020]

    (DON'T MISTAKE DTS WITH RTK DRIVERS)

    1. Extract zip.
    2. Go in to extract folder and select Setup.exe
    3. follow the instructions

    5.Restart Laptop

    6.Restart Again

    7.Go to DTS Headphone:X v1

    8.Enjoy

    I downloaded and unzip the files as u suggested but i cannot install it, there is no way to install, kindly guide me

    I had the same problem today again after updating Windows ....

    What I do?

    1. switch off internet 
    2. Uninstall realtek drivers from device manager ( tick delete all drivers)
    3. I install the same drivers as before link below

    2. Restart laptop again
    3. Done

    Do Anything like above 

    P.S when unzip use setup.exe
