HAD WINDOWS 10 FOR 3 YEARS SAME PC. NO PROBLEMS THEN LAST 6 WEEKS BOTTOM LEFT HAD SCREEN I HAVE MESSAGE ACTIVATE WINDOWS GO TO SETTINGS TO ACTIVATE WINDOWS. I FINALLY WORKED OUT HOW TO DO THIS BUT GOT ERROR 0X80070002 TRY LATER.

I ALSO HAVE NO SOUND. AND SOME SITES HAVE TROUBLE WITH. LIKE WOOLWORTHS, I PUT THINGS IN SHOPPING CART LIKE 1 WATERMELON THEN 1 TEABAGS THEN THE 1 WATERMELON DISAPPEARS FROM CART. THEN WHEN TRY ON LOGIN IT ASKS OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN FOR PASSWORD AND EMAIL ADDRESS. THESE 2 PROBLEMS ALSO STARTED 6 WEEKS AGO.

I USE SEARCH ENGINE FIREFOX AND HAVE DONE FOR LONG TIME.

    How can one remove Microsoft Edge? I am sick and tired of updates putting things on my computer I don't want or need!

    How can one either stop updates or only update programs you want? Any help much appreciated!  Still on Windows 10.

    You never mentioned that you were using the same USB stick.

    I have 3-5 USB's I copied my files to 2 of them but for some reason the files have disappeared on both of them. Will keep trying.

    Why it is gone on green one is unknown to me. I used the red one for Windows.

    Hello,

    There can be several causes.

    1. First, check that the time and date are correct in the bottom right corner of the taskbar.

        Open the Start menu.

        Type "cmd" in the search bar.

        Right-click on "Command Prompt" and click on "Run as Administrator".

    Type : sfc /scannow

    This scan will take about 10-15 minutes or longer.

    1. your PC could also be infected with malware.

    With Malwarebytes you can check your PC for Malware:

    What OS build are you on?  Hit the Windows key, type winver, hit Enter.

    Or Windows key+r, winver, OK
