my camera is in black and white. How do I change it to color?

It worked for me I am so happy been using Black and White for over a year. What I did was go into SKYPE the settings  then Audio & Video then Webcam settings the Color enable was greyed out so I click on default and then canceled it. and all my apps that use the camera are now in color. Instead of cancel you might try ok if that doesn't work. I hope this works for other people.

I have my internal Camera working in B&W ever since I can remember (at least from 2016, probably since I have upgraded Win8 to Win10). None of all options I've tried solved this issue (eg. updates, delete driver...). I have just tried your suggestion of using Skype for Business which has some webcam controls I could manage with, and set it to default settings. I have now solved my long-term problem in seconds and have a coloured camera working as such.

I know the feeling.  Go to the Skype app. (If you don't have it, download it)  Then go to its settings and turn the camera to color.  Don't ask me why, but this should solve the problem.  Many, many of us have or had that problem and I don't know why Lenovo, who must be aware of this problem since it is so common, doesn't fix it.  I hope you get the color back.

My ColorEnable setting is blocked for some reason. :(

Man, this actually works! All the microsoft updates, device driver updates, restarting and uninstalling didn't work, and this, this, THIS WORKS
