My Microsoft Order is still Pending

So i ordered a Surface laptop 3 on December 1st, and I know that is black Friday so there were probably a lot of orders but i would love to have some sort of reassurance that my item will be delivered on time. It's been stuck in pending literally since i hit purchase and it says that the estimated delivery date is Dec 12, but that's in three days, and i highly doubt it'll get here by then if it still hasn't shipped. I have a trip to go on a few days after it's supposed to arrive and it would be nice to have my new laptop for it.

Why doesn't Microsoft do better with the orders page? It should tell you if there's an issue or if it's sold out or if there's just a high volume of orders and that it may not arrive on time. I'd feel much better if it just gave me something, like Amazon does. 

Anyway, is there any way to find out the true status, more than just a lousy "pending"? And maybe a eay to ensure it gets here sooner, like pay a little extra?

    To every one my order was shipped its not pending so if u get email from microsoft ur order was shipped that means ur orders on way

    I ended up getting my money back without even cancelling my order of an xbox controller. im confused now, can anyone explain?

    Np I understand how can be frustrated they don't put if its pre order or not that should be switch i told them that when I ordered mine well over a month half ago if nothin happens u want little less frustration call them because more people call more they might start fixing there issues because they have start they state were number on priority then pull stuff like this not right to us costumers

    People have been gettin them now if that helps just we just waited over a month for it to be shipped and ares says pending to but mine I got notified they asked if I got yet so its on way I think once get all orders out from back u prob won't have wait as long but whos to say this is microsoft they did in past just do not call ur bank and not let it go through or ull be waiting for ur money ur pretty much goin have call or just wait for it if u read comments u will no why I said don't call bank to stop transaction some are waiting for money back
