My Microsoft Order is still Pending

So i ordered a Surface laptop 3 on December 1st, and I know that is black Friday so there were probably a lot of orders but i would love to have some sort of reassurance that my item will be delivered on time. It's been stuck in pending literally since i hit purchase and it says that the estimated delivery date is Dec 12, but that's in three days, and i highly doubt it'll get here by then if it still hasn't shipped. I have a trip to go on a few days after it's supposed to arrive and it would be nice to have my new laptop for it.

Why doesn't Microsoft do better with the orders page? It should tell you if there's an issue or if it's sold out or if there's just a high volume of orders and that it may not arrive on time. I'd feel much better if it just gave me something, like Amazon does. 

Anyway, is there any way to find out the true status, more than just a lousy "pending"? And maybe a eay to ensure it gets here sooner, like pay a little extra?

    Call microsoft tomorow ask wats goin on but ask talk to manager they no more regular person i find always gives u run around

    I ordered my controller may 23rd and it said itd be here by may29th. It is now june 2nd and its STILL pending ams took my money. Idk what to do and at this point I dont want the controller

    go to first page were u view order up at top usualy show date it could be a preorder for that date mine says July 1 I didn't see it first time and my product is still pending

    They just updated web site to theres lots they r doin so with covid 19 high demand depending on ur order they been fixing some products to do to problems this is alot things but were they took it out it could be when they update web site thats why this happen to do with ur money or its a glinch and ur product been shipped and its just not showing

    Same! I placed my order on May 22. The status “pending” hasnt changed since. I was billed on the 22nd and again on the 29th. Then they reversed the 29th. The confirmation email says they wont bill until it ships but it hasnt said they shipped.
