When someone sends me an email with a link I get an error message that my browser is out of date. So I cannot access the links. MSN Premium is still using Explorer and my new computer is using Windows 10 with Edge. Is MSN going to be updated to use Edge?

We are all in this together.   After years of attempts to get Microsoft's plan, I came to the conclusion months ago that there is no plan.  Why would there be?  When and if MSN Premium is linked to a newer browser, Premium will be all new and we'll lose what we like about Premium email, etc.  In the meantime, Microsoft can conclude reasonably from a business approach that the customer must be getting something worthwhile for his or her money, or the customer wouldn't keep coming back.  I pay $50/yr in one payment in January.   Someday, either Microsoft or I will quit.

But, I do like to see my email in the traditional screen.  I've developed a work-around that works for me.  I keep Edge and Outlook in my tray, and I have my msn email account in both Outlook and Premium.  When I find an email that I want to read in either of the other two emails that I carry on Premium, I transfer the email in my msn email folder, go to Outlook and read it there.  If there's a link in the email, the link works.  The link would not work that is embedded in the email if I opened it in Premium.  If I clicked that link, such as "Read More," Premium's IE would not be recognized because it no longer is supported, and the link would not open.  You all know that, of course.   I'm not satisfied, but old habits are hard to break. ... but, come next January I might quit, break my old habit and adjust to Outlook or Google, or ?

Just like all of you who have been with MSN Preium for so many years, I too also wish that Microsoft would make it compatable with Edge. One problem I'm having now is trying to figure out how to export my favorites over to Edge. MSN Premium came with a very good favorites structure to which I've added many, many favorites of my own. The only way I can get these favorites onto Edge is to manually add them one at a time. How very frustrating. So Microsoft if you're out there listenening, please, please get MSN Premuim and Edge to work together!

    1. You won't lose your @msn email address.
    2. Your mail will still be "in the cloud" on the outlook.com servers.
    3. My post, two posts above this post, tells you of several ways to access that email account withut the MSN Email App.

It's true that Edge is free but not with the users interface that Premium provides. I have been a premium customer for 10+ years and have been willing to continue to pay for this service but believe the time to end it is near. I have called numerous numbers that I have used in the past to correct problems I have with the product but the recordings tell me now to direct questions to the on-line troubleshooting guides. That's not a response for a paying customer. It's sad and obvious that Microsoft doesn't seem to want to support this product. It's also obvious that Microsoft does little or no monitoring of this forum as I have yet to see a post from a Microsoft rep posting any type of resolution or contact numbers to help those that are having problems ..   I wish you all the best ...   By the way Barry, I too am in Mpls

As of now, there is a work around,  when we get the message "browser is out of date" on MSN Explorer, look for the Edge Icon at the right hand side of the browser. Click on it to open the same website on Edge.
