I have been getting this message since the 3rd.  I have tried the sync troubleshooting steps but they have not worked.

I was finally able to fix this by going into the Shared experience settings in Windows 10

Click the start button and type Shared experiences and then open the setting. Toggle the On switch and see if that works. Even if the on switch is already on, toggle it off and then back on again and see if that fixes it. One thing to note is that you should probably only have My devices only in the dropdown menu.

Similar for me. The Your Phone Companion takes at least a minute to load.

Your Phone is stuck at 60%. Bizarrely, it is waiting for Your Phone Companion to scan a QR code which it displays. At the same time Your Phone Companion is telling me to select Send Notification from the Your Phone app on the PC. Of course i can't access the menu on the PC as it is awaiting a scan of the QR code.

Deeply frustrating, as this app used to be quite useful.

Same for me. And it takes a whole minute for the app to load in the first place. After that it's stuck at 60%.

I have a feeling something is blocking the app in the background, but I don't know what. I switched to Samsung DeX, which is way better than this app. The only thing with that is you have to connect to PC with USB. And the only model that doesn't require a cord is the S21.

Try uninstalling Your Companion App and reinstalling it on your phone. That fixed the fault for me and immediately successfully my Samsung Mobile to my PC perfectly. I told my son who couldn't connect to his PC either and the same action got him linked with no hassle...Trevor.
