I noticed upon checking my Event Log Applications and my Reliability Monitor I have been getting this critical error about every 2 to 3 days now on my HP Omen i7 -16 GB Mem - Nvidia GEForce GTX 1070 on Win10 Home 64 bit and this did not start happening until I updated to v1903 on May 30^th^ . My build is 18362.239. Could someone please advise me as how to resolve this or MS deploy a fix for this. It appears I am not the only one getting these. I have reported this through the Feedback Hub. I have run all three DISMs, SFC, Malwarebytes, Norton and I turned on Windows Defender long enough for a quick scan and no problems seen. It appears this is a scheduled task that keeps failing instead of running to completion.

Note that screensaver is set to start after 10 minuttes of inactivity, but didn't untill 15 minuttes after??

2019-07-23T12:25:33+00:00 Well, there's not much you need to do. The last web page you access is timed in Google (Ctrl+H) so, if you accessed a page prior to going away, just add five minutes. The errors first appear in Event Viewer (which is where I'm checking now). You could keep a pad beside your computer and, when you get up to go away for a while, write down the computer time of your last action and then check Event Viewer on your return...
...or switch off the screensaver, tell the computer not to make the screen go blank but to go to sleep after 15 minutes. That takes all the 'problem' actions I'm having out of the equation and then see if any Host errors occur.
Unfortunately, it takes a fair few days to test a possible fix - but it's just trial and error. Only make one or two changes and restrain from doing anything else til you get an error or are happy it's worked.
PS - I was looking at an article of all the changes that were coming in with 1903 and the Power & Sleep page of 'Settings' didn't materialise on my laptop as it was meant to. Also, if you search for 'brightness' in the Cortana search window, it takes you to the Power settings in Control Panel where they no longer are. Doesn't look like they were able to finish what they wanted to do before release.

And to find out I have to sit and stare at my computer when one of those happens and hope that it actually does trigger an error at some point??? Because it obviously doesn't happen every time?

2019-07-23T11:20:25+00:00 Along with the wife, I've now had a Host error. But, unlike previous times, this seems to be 'power' related.
When I switched off the screensaver after 5 minutes, I left it to switch off the screen after 5 minutes instead. The new Host error occurred at that 5 minute threshold so now the screen will be left on until it goes into Sleep after 15 minutes.
The wife had more problems this morning - this time with 'Sleep'. When it woke up, it would throw up a Host error.
I may be being too optimistic here but, if I could sort out these two problems, I may have cracked it. It's just a bummer that it takes up to 4 or 5 days to see if it happens again :(.
