I find it difficult to begin. I know the screens and what they say. You do not have to repeat it all. This makes it difficult to weed out what is important and what is not.
I still do not know what you selected in the tool for your phone
.
After the WDRT all phone apps have to install, not your apps, the 30 or so phone apps that are no longer there after the tool. I have said this before.
Do not restore. Do not use your backup. Try to get a clean install. You should have a start screen. You may have a bad backup to restore from.
Rebuilding "notes, emails, lists, postings and PrintScreens." What notes? emails are part of your account, What lists?, Thought you backed up screen shots.
If you are worried about your backup for some reason I have said how to prevent it from being overwritten.
Yes, you are totally wrong about the volume keys and power button.
power, volume down > soft reset
power, volume up > screenshot
Thought you were using a soft reset when your phone locked up.
"Leave it alone
and let the apps download. Everything is still updating.
It does no good to look at the apps list, it is all updating If you want to see what is downloading go to the store, top left menu, downloads and updates. Install updates if it is asking. The store will close when it tries to update,
that's ok, just let it update and go back and watch till all is updated.
Then look around!
Wait till all apps are updated."
