OK, since you've not yet Replied Gary, maybe you're thinking "Just do what I said to do, you dingo!!".
So, at the very beginning of your Reply, you'd said "
Next time through WDRT, use Not Detected and pick Lumia.
Do not try to restore.
Leave it alone and let the apps download.
Everything is still updating."
So, I'll do it. I don't really understand your saying that "let the APPs download" thing. You must mean all of the factory APPs and nothing that I've gotten myself from the Store? That's what had really been confusing me but, oh well, I'm ready to just move
ahead. Here it goes!!
I said NO to using OneDrive since I store my own Photos and Videos on my PC by emailing them to myself or getting by cable-connecting them together. I said YES to Cortana since I've learned that she needs to be ON so that you can talk-to-type in things like
Texts and Emails. I said NEXT, NOT NOW and EXIT to AT&T Ready2Go since I'm a T-Mobile guy, not an AT&T Wireless dude. I can just uninstall the 5 AT&T APPS and the MyAT&T APP that the phone's firmware must stick in.
Screen went black then briefly showed the Home screen before popping saying SD card found. Do you want to store data on it?
I was going to say NO but I was typing this. Then the screen quickly went black but showing the Time & Day, Date.
I CAN'T WAKE IT UP!! IT HAS DONE THIS EXACT SAME THING TO ME BEFORE. THE ONLY WAY THAT I'VE EVER GOTTEN OUT OF IT IS TO DO A SOFT RESET (HOLD POWER & VOLUME UP UNTIL IT VIBRATES) AND THAT ACTUALLY JUST RESTARTS IT WITH A LITTLE MICROSOFT LOGO & THEN A QUICK
FLASH OF THE 4 BLUE QUARES WINDOWS ICON & THEN IT GOES DEAD AGAIN.
Same ol' stuff. I've been thru all of this plenty of times in the last few days. Did I do anything wrong?
****** ADDED WITH AN EDIT & ALSO AS A NEW REPLY WHICH I WILL DELETE LATER SO ONLY REPLY TO THIS ONE ******
My phone crashed WAY quicker when I didn't do a Restore than when I have done them. WAY QUICKER.
So, there must be nothing wrong with my Backup and instead there must be something wrong with the phone itself?
