Windows locking into sleep mode

2 days ago i upgraded my windows 10 to build 1903 , since then ,

randomly and during any activity (gaming , watching a video ..etc) , 

screen with the word "locking" in the middle appears for half a second and my laptop goes into sleep mode 

and then i have to turn it on again 

this never happened before the update , i tried to reset and fresh start but, nothing worked , and now i can't get back to previous build 

what do i do ?

So, I solved the issue (for me, at least) a long time ago but forgot to report back. My apologies

Basically,

Settings -> power and sleep -> additional power settings -> change advanced power settings -> battery

Then, change critical battery action and low battery action to do nothing both on battery and plugged in

I don't know if others already solved the problem In a different way, but i Hope that helps

    Soo what now, we wait? Orrrr  ????

    I went to the service center and they told me that " yes we know there are lot of customers complaining about this" they also told me that i have to keep the laptop in the service center for like a week or so lmaooo . Its a brand new laptop and now this issue. 

    • better to wait, but the question is till when 
    • for me it happens while playing valorant. not tested with other games. 20 minutes into gaming it goes to HIBERNATING AND LOCKING  then the fan kicks in hard for like a minute then off

    i think the problem is just for HP laptop, because the main problem is BIOS update not windows update

    I have the same problem,windows just goes into locking mode this happens whenever I play games,in about interval of 10 minutes and when I sign in the game will be running in background.

    I tried everything changed power and lock screen settings even reinstalled windows to 1903 version.

    It all started after the hp bios update I thought to rolling is back but couldn't get the bios file.I have HP pavilion laptop it's about a week old,may be I need replacement.

    Same here bought my laptop week back now this issue, only after F.08 bios update

    is anyone else still having this problem? this only happens while playing 1 game that is a little harder to run than any others, but my pc can run the game, but recently has been doing the same thing, ive also tried a fresh start, but it does not help, ive also run a scan on my pc and it still does it, i tried updating it but still, nothing different

    im running this on windows 10 (ver 2003)
