Your Phone app shows duplicate sent messages

My Your Phone app is duplicating messages sent, sporadically. This has been happening the past few days. Windows and Your Phone apps have been updated. The duplicates are appearing in my Android texting app (Textra) as well. I have used Pulse, Google Messages, and Samsung Flow previously w/o this occurring.

Windows 10 Pro 1903

Android Pie, standard, non-rooted ROM

    This is (potentially) great news -- my only concern is bothering the recipients of my messages and, if they're not getting the duplicates, then seeing duplicates in (only) my app is fine.

    Unfortunately, my wife confirmed that she does get the duplicates that the app sends (as proven when I looked at her phone), so I have to believe that my other recipients are getting them, too.

    How do i get off of this thread? it says i can go to the questions and select the ellipses and unsubscribe, but no ellipses and way to unsubscribe that i can see. 

    none of the suggestions for quite some time are what i was wanting, namely stoping duplicates of the programs i wanted to use. switching to another may stop duplicates but i wanted a fix for YourPhone App (and have never used Samsungs messaging client.) Plus, until YourPhone is able to send to multiple recipients, there is no way i can use it. Not to mention the rich text features that Android Messages has. just wanted YouPhone to be a player, but c'set la vie.

    I use a Samsung Note and my brother has a Samsung Galaxy and it was duplicating everything on his phone too.

    QUITE ANNOYING.

    Had some instances where it was quadruplicating my texts yesterday.

    I like the concept of the app and it is especially nice because I lot of stuff on laptop, but have about arrived at same point as many others in that I am turning it off except for when I explicitly want to send something (link, image) from laptop to someone who primarily uses phone.

    I am having the same problem. The upside is while the duplicate messages are being displayed in both the Your Phone App and on my Samsung, the recipients of the texts are NOT receiving duplicate texts. So while it is very aggravating, at least the duplicates aren't actually being sent.

    This seems to be related to if you have your messages sms app ON YOUR PHONE up and running. I can duplicate it at will by stopping the app on phone. It's mirroring your phone so that isn't unreasonable for it to be doing if the phones sms app is active.

    I might be proved wrong in next 5 minutes but that is what I am seeing.

    Not a FORCE STOP but on my Samsung Note 9 flicking it upward seems to do the trick. Whatever that flicking upward of the screen when I the III button at the bottom of the screen,
