Audio problem on Logitech Z Cinema after October Update

Hi,

After installing October Update on Windows 10 volume control is not working (using Logitech Z Cinema speakers through USB).

Driver update, restart explorer, restart Windows Audio service didn't help.

Any suggestion ?

    Hi Veddermandenis,

    Yes, I agree, & have just sent an updated e-mail to Logitech saying that this "unplugging" method is only a partial fix.

    As such, some users like yourself have NOT regained full functionality.

    Stressed to Logitech, that due to this that they should still work with MS to patch fix either W10 V1809, and/or Logitech's own Z System Drivers so that they can work together & give users back the full functionality previously enjoyed by them.

    Clive I think you should clearly state on your email that this is a partial fix, some functionalities still don't work like before as I stated in my above post.

    Also, FLV-84, Veddermandis = other users for whom it has worked!

    ChimePants31-your English was brilliant-easily understandable.

    Your solution WORKS =Brilliant all Z users will be very grateful!!!!!

    I set the music going on Itunes at 45% volume, only volume setting working, then took your nuclear option! & pulled the power plug out of the sub-woofer.

    Waited a few mins for electrics to clear, plugged in again-no sound at all > very scared but used my brain & told myself "REBOOT", as IT always told me do back in W95 times!...., as it fixed many PC problems.

    Post Reboot: Brilliant everything works again: full sound variability on everything; r/c, Z Volume keypad icon, taskbar vol slider.

    Sound blasts out at full volume now, if I need it, but mostly 50%-60% is great.

    Hence, I will now tell Logitech so that they can publish this solution on their web-site.

    Bit disappointed with them as they have not replied yet to my last e-mail to them last Sat Jan 19th telling them to work with MS to fix it!

    Hopefully this solution reaches all Z users everywhere.
