Hi Sumit.
Do you have any new information on what is wrong, what Microsoft are doing and an estimated date for the fix?
Neil

I've been a MS Windows user since the 80's, going back since then there has always been some sort of problems with updates from MS but and fortunately Win-10 has been very forgiving until this 1809 (luckily and fingers crossed) its been OK for me, but
many people are having problems with. I have had no issues with 1809 and it works perfectly with all its new added and wonderful features. I updated the 1809 with the 'MediaCreationTool1803.exe' that was available on the 04 Oct 2018 but its not available now.It
downloaded and installed perfectly and I also did this with my other computer which did the same.
One thing though,
I was having problems with 'Windows Update' it was going around in circles and wasn't downloading properly and if that happens, you should do the same (when 1809) comes online again.
I'm sharing my views as the 1809 works perfectly and I want people to know that the problems might not be as common to every computer out there. here is my Update history snip for your information, cheers
ok, never mind
thanks
It seems, if you are using a local account to login windows 10, your files are safe. if you are using an online Microsoft account to login, your files are likely in danger.
Can someone confirm?
Thanks
