I just wanted to add to this to try and give some insights as to what i did with these Windows 10 update issues. This is not that to hard to fix. I have successfully installed the Windows 10 Update Version 1809 on all my computers. If this update is causing problems is highly probable that you will need to Update all the Network Drivers on the System after Installing. But before you install windows 10 Update 1809. You should As always back up all you files to an External Hard drive or use One drive. It better to do both.
The solution to this problem for most is to update the drivers if Microsoft can provide driver updates with the Windows Update Version 1809. Then all will be fixed. Must of the issues are due to out of date drivers not compatible with the latest update. Apps that are not connecting to the internet are cause by some of these problems. The main thing here is to insure all the Network drivers are updated to the latest version. you can use version different driver software to help with this matters.
I am using a old windows 7 Computer which has successfully installed the new update. Without to much issues. I hope this is of help to all those that has download windows 10 Update version 1809. And may have instability issue. But i must say that this may not be the only issues with files disappearing it is recommended that you update all drivers and back up before you install.
