Windows 10 October update rollout has again started from 13/11/2018.

    Thank you for the update here Sumit. Perhaps we can lock this thread now and if there are further comments or problems from users they should start a new thread.

    Thank-You Sumit,

                I updated this morning to the new Windows 10 October 1809 Update and so far, No Problems to report. And my system performance is now Very Fast and stable.

    Installed October update with no problems losing files, documents are pictures on my desktop are laptop, I noticed that both had File history shut off.  Just curious if anyone that had lost their files had this option on before they updated?

    I updated my HP Spectre x360 to the October 2018 version but had different issues.  Scrolling on my touchpad only worked intermittently for some sites in Edge and in some apps.  The cursor would just disappear and I could not scroll down the page.  I did not have the pictures issue but some of my picture files were converted to strange files and there were a few downloads in my pictures files.  I reverted back to version 1803 and will await the fixes before installing the 1809 version.
