Epson scanner will not work with latest windows 10 update

My epson perfection v700 scanner (that allows me to scan photos, negatives, documents, etc.) and that I paid over $800 for) stopped working with teh latest update two days ago. I've downloaded a new driver and other software from Epson and it doesn't work. Can I uninstall this update? I like my scanner a whole lot more than I like Windows.

    Hi everybody

    Yesterday i found a new program in the espon driver for my epson perfection V600 Photo !

    So, i try 2 scan, now i think it's ok, befeore i have a freeze after the first scan

    My problem was solved. The "Run as Administrator" fix worked for three weeks. However now my three year old Epson WF 3640 stopped working altogether, error code 0x97.   This is apparently a motherboard issue.  It is now in the recycle cart at Staples and I have a Brother device.

    I thought Eprosn Web Print had caused my problem, but it reappeared after a few days even without Web Print installed.

    Trying another theory, I found the Epson dialog had gotten stuck "off-screen".

    Same symptoms as before. I got the dialog back by carefully selecting it with Alt-Tab and then Alt-M (hopefully = Move) and then arrow keys in various directions. 

    It has been mostly fine after that. Once the symptoms re-appeared, but that time it was lack of response from the printer which was fixed by re-starting it.
