Up update here...
I've had a support ticket open with Malwarebytes since July 18.
So far they have:
1) Collected my logs using a support tool
2) Collected advanced logs using their ARWLOGS program
3) Requested that I do a clean re-installation of Malwarebytes using their MBST.EXE
When I asked how we'll know if the clean re-installation resolves the problem (i.e., if they have root-caused / proved the problem to be caused remnants of prior installation), the support guy said some people were seeing OneDrive being removed by Malwarebytes
as opposed to being caused by a failed OneDrive pushed update installation.
He proposed closing the support ticket, if after clean re-install it doesn't appear in a few days. I'm trying to get him to understand/agree that since lots of us seem to be seeing the problem during pushed OneDrive updates, his proposed "wait a few days"
idea makes no sense and won't prove anything. I just sent another email to see if I can get through to him.
Any luck on the Microsoft support end of things??
