Microsoft license key/IP address scam

I just received a phone call on my cell phone, the caller ID was my own phone number. Was curious so I answered it, probably shouldn't have. I don't have a smart phone by the way. The robo voice said it was microsoft, that my windows license key was going to be deactivated because my IP address had been compromised from several different countries and they needed to set up a new IP address for me. I was then transferred to a person. Couldn't understand them so hung up. Is any of my information compromised, also concerned that the caller ID on my cell phone was my cell phone number?

    I received no helpful information.  Fortunately after 13 calls over about 30 hours the calls stopped and I have not received any more.

    Same here. Called while i was on my cell phone using my cell phone #. 

    Is it just a coincidence that i haven’t been on my lap-top in over a year,  but i did just download (yesterday) the app  “microsoft one drive” Along with updating my email and phone number with microsoft. 

    One day later im getting these calls. Hmmmmm 

    I wonder if Microsoft has been compromised ? Its awfully suspicious, the next day im getting calls.

    The same thing happened to me this morning 1/20/2019. My name and home landline phone. I picked up listened and was going to hang up; they disconnected first. You, Microsoft, need to put out a statement and investigate. No isolated incident and I am sure has been successful or they would have stopped by now. React!  We are your customers.

    I have had a total of 17 calls today [counted them of my phone log] starting at 0600 w/my name and my phone number on my caller ID.  it was "Suzy" from Microsoft  w/the same recording as mention from 08/11/18, 09/11/18 posting.  No way to stop w/nomorobo.  Can't block your own number.  Do I have to leave my landline unplugged to not receive these calls?  Can ANYTHING be done to stop this??
