"Up to date" even though I am running version 1507 (RTM build of Windows 10); how to get 1803 (Redstone 4)?

Well without any real help from anyone, I managed to get a legitimately genuine version of Windows 10 installed on my computer... but it is from a DVD so I am running the first released version of the operating system, and I am trying to update to the latest release. When I run Windows Update, I used to see "Feature Update to 1803" as an available update, but now I don't see it at all and I know for a fact that I am still running Threshold instead of Redstone.

    Well, off the top of my head, I know that I have an ASUS minitower which is 5 years old almost. The exact model I am not sure.

    The combination of a fresh installation and few downloads means that the 200GB system partition has plenty of free space for the upgrade. The only things I get from Windows Update now are Defender anti-malware definitions.

    I think the RX 570 is the only third-party hardware in the computer, and even then, I don't think that should be the issue either. Other connections include a mouse and ethernet, which are not essential to standard Windows functionality. All of the system's devices, last I checked, are operational.

    Windows Defender is the only security software on the PC. If I have to, I will check to see IF there are hard drive disk errors, though I think even the Seagate hard drive works just fine. A clean restart? Maybe, I will check on that as well. Repair system files... well, why? Like I said, new installation.

    Oh, and I have actually installed a build of Redstone 5 using an emulated version of this system configuration and had no problems with that.

    What is the make & model of the computer? It will have a site to check for driver & firmware updates. Also, it may say whether the computer is tested for 1803.

    Now this did not work either, I am using exactly the same build as before.

    ugh

    Mind you, this is a fresh install of Windows 10 as it is, do I need to provide additional information like system specifications or the list of files and software I did download since I installed Threshold?

    (... except I was at work all day so I cannot be certain that it actually installed the build... I don't know...)

    Okay, well that didn't work. I restart the computer to finish getting that update but then it tells me that the system is restoring and I am still using Threshold. *facepalm*
