Neuro-programmer 3.exe - .Net Famework Initialization Error

please set registry key HKLM\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT.NET FRAMEWORK\ install root to point to the .NET Framework Install location

Can anyone help me resolve this error- I installed this program for the first time on to my windows 10 x64 brand new laptop and it is supposed to be compatible with windows 10 - when I try to open it I get the above error. i had to use revo to uninstall

  • should I try to fix this before I re install or should I reinstall first and fix later.

Any idea how to fix this - I have never edited a registry and am kind of nervous to do so- I need this computer to make a living and don't want to mess it up- took me weeks to get it set up in the first place so don't want to have to do a wipe and restore.

I hope I posted this in the right category

Thanks so much any help will be greatly appreciated

Michelle

Real Solutions, please see the link I posted yesterday to a one drive doc. It is a copy of the email I sent to the developer after speaking to him on the phone.  There are screenshots in there and a lot more on the web archive link I posted earlier as well.

If anyone has copies of their original sales receipt and warranty information, that would be super helpful. I made it very clear that we were going to do everything in our power to regain access to the software we purchased.

Hi to all, and thanks for the persistent efforts. We definitely need to stay on them, and they should know the only best course of action is to provide the service we paid for, or make the programs open source so that they can be developed/ maintained. Taking away access from these great programs only to leave us with inferior membership / paid fee tracks is unacceptable. I have a legal service called Legal Shield, and I can run the case by them. I get free legal consultation and please send me some screen shots/other information. Maybe if a lawyer reaches out to them they will think about their actions. Bullet points stating the issues with screen shots would be very helpful and I can forward that to the Legal organization.

Here is a template email that I sent to my CPA - feel free to use and/or amend in contacting other attorneys:

    Dear xxxxx,

On a unrelated issue to my tax questions, do you or does your firm deal with cases involving consumer fraud?  I see that your firm handles fraud investigation but that this issue may be outside the scope of your practice. If that is so, could you possibly refer me to a suitable attorney?

    The Issue

I am working on a problem with some proprietary software that was provided with some provisional warrantees and then they deleted all of their websites and rendered the software useless. There is a community of users who are ready to take action on this, because (1) it has cost us a lot of money (average $500-2k each, plus time investment and lost revenue) and (2) the software is the best out there and there is no suitable alternative. We bough "lifetime" licenses.  I've finally got the attention of the company president, and am in negotiations but would like to know where we stand legally if they decide not to cooperate. I know we have a successful BBB claim which I see as the next step, but following that with a consumer fraud class action is something I am totally unfamiliar with.

    Sincerely,

    name: xxxx

    date: xx/xx/xxxx

Indeed- They are going under the name brain.fm but the parent company is still TransparentCorp and from what I see they have no financial problems. They just saw MWS etc as not worth the time to maintain and said screw it. Not right, and pretty sure not legal.

If anyone has the time and bandwith to speak with a lawyer about the legality and what actual laws were broken, federal or state, that would be enormous for me to have in my negotiations with the organization. I know it falls under the general area of consumer fraud, but the exact crimes I don't have ironed out.
